A trace monotype (also known as a transfer drawing) is a fun and accessible printmaking method that involves drawing on paper placed over an inked surface. The result is a one-of-a-kind print with a fuzzy, ephemeral quality—perfect for October. This class will cover variations on materials, methods, and how to push your monotype with mixed-media. You will leave with a handful of unique prints and knowledge of how to continue this process at home. Participants are welcome to bring their own reference images for tracing.
